About Plantation Field Equestrian Events

Formed in 1985 Plantation Field Equestrian Events, Inc is a not for-profit Corporation which has filed under IRS as a 501c (3) corporation. Our beneficiaries are the United States Equestrian Team, United States Eventing Association; all organizations are tax deductible 5O1c (3) corporations.

PFEE hosts 4 nationally recognized USEA horse trials and 3 starter trials each year.

NAME: Plantation Field Equestrian Events, Inc., (the "Corporation") is a not-for-profit Corporation organized under the Corporations and Associations Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland. Its officers and programs are located at 118 Market St. P.O. Box 559, Denton, MD 21629.

PURPOSE: The purposes of the Corporation are:

A. Promoting and conducting amateur athletic sports competition at the competition site and providing technical training and financial support for such competition.

B. Developing, administering, supporting and conducting training programs and clinics for all levels of amateur equestrian competition.

C. To raise and disburse funds in furtherance of the above tax exempt purposes.

PFEE. Inc is a member of the Maryland Horse Council.

PFEE Bios

Event Secretary: Bambi Glaccum

The grandaughter of the late Amory Haskell, Bambi grew up foxhunting in Monmouth County New Jersey and showing ponies. Bambi holds an associate degree in technical secretarial science from Colby Sawyer College and has extensive computer experience. She participates in the annual Bill Mills Trail Ride (at a walk) held annually at Fair Hill. Bambi juggles being Secretary of the six Plantation Field Events with watching the grandchildren.

Event Organizer, Course Designer, etc: Denis Glaccum

Denis is a former member of the United States Equestrian Team’s Three-Day Event committee, former Secretary and Vice-President and Board Member of the United States Combined Training Association and former Chairman of the USCTA Strategic Planing Committee. He is founder of Plantation Field Equestrian Events and former President of the American Horse Trials Foundations. He is a former organizer of the Chesterland International Three-Day Event and a board member of the Fair Hill International Three-Day Event. He has been starter for the Cheshire Point to Point, the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup, a patrol judge for the Fair Hill Races and past president of the Organizer's Committee. Currently Denis serves on the USAE Events Committee and is a member of the executive committee of the Maryland Horse Council. Denis is also a certified Course Designer.
